Shark Cartilage

Shark cartilage is a natural source of chondroitin, glucosamine, calcium, and omegas 3 & 6. Low in fat- they are a great treat for those dogs trying to trim their waistline.
These crunchy sticks are irresistible and every dog that has tried them wants more! The pieces of shark cartilage can be fed as a treat or as a chew. Chew time will vary depending on your dog’s chew strength. Our power chewer golden gets about 4 minutes from the large length chew while our light chewer golden gets about 7-10 minutes  of chew time. Breaking the sticks into small pieces will make a very high value treat for training or as a bedtime treat! 

small, under 6 inches: 3 oz, approximately 8-12 pieces

medium, 6-8 inches: 6 oz, approximately 10-13 pieces

large, 8-14 inches: 8 oz, approximately 12-15 pieces 

We have imported our shark cartilage directly from another small, woman-owned business that has carefully prepared their products in Perth, Australia. 

Supervision is recommended. Always provide fresh drinking water. Shark cartilage is high in calcium so should be fed as an intermittent treat to puppies under 1 year as not to disrupt the calcium levels in their growing bones.
